Wake up early in the morning to watch the 'live' channel on the eclipse. It really show how some parts of China really from brightness to darkness, and back to brightness within few minutes. If it's happening in ancient times, perhaps this kind of phenomenon would have been a frightening experience.

Went supper with Wilson just now at east coast park with his bike. The feeling at the bike was shiok, with the wind blowing, but it's kind of scary, could be due to his speed of 100km/h at the expressway. Didn't eat much at east coast. We went over to the resting shed and chit chat for hours. He was telling me the people in his working area. It's really weird people there. Got smart but super low EQ with suspected mental problem people, got computer-illiterate superior, got stubborn cum thick skin senior etc. I thought that old man in my wing is weird enough, to think there are even weirder people exist.

Back in Bedok, feeling hungry. I ate a plate of bee hoon. Not too bad though, yet to explore more food in this area.

Happy belated birthday, Kah Wah.
Happy birthday YONG KWANG!!!

Went for a swim in the afternoon. Saw these 2 china man swimming. Both of them arrived the same time as me. Both of them seems to be competing with each other. They started off fast with freestyle. They were swimming non stop till coming near to 20 laps? Both of them were damn good in stamina. Maybe they were trained in their country. Just when I was about to leave after the session, an old man started chatting with me. He started the conversation asking if I am a regular of the swimming complex, I told him not really. He says that explain why I am fair in complexion. hahaha...I was like laughing inside. To think that he could start off a conversation like this, and to think he is rather fair too. He mentioned that he can't really swim fast and needed rest to complete his lap of swimming. He thus ask me guess his age. To give him some face, I said 60 plus, 70 plus (but he really look like 70 plus), he is 80. Beside him there is this old ang moh, he was chatting with him as well, overheard that he is from France. I asked him if he was his friend, he told me that he just happened to saw him on few occasions in the pool, saying that he will leave once he completed his 20 laps. But that Caucasian has got a good built, given his age (looks in his 60+ to 70). Lastly, I bid goodbye to the old man, who seems wanting to have more conversation with me. With less than 10 people in the pool, strangely I around 6 of them are senior citizens. Maybe that's their prime time of the day in pool.

Wednesday was the last day of my journey as Admin Spec. By right should be super happy (cos I was rather moody throughout), however, mixed feelings. Administrative work can't really hand over immediately. There are some things which I still have to settle before 'case close'. I can't totally left all the job to the understudy as there's still a lot for him to learn. Even thought I am clearing off/leave these few days, I still feel uneasy letting a super new spec (posted in less than 3 weeks) to temporary handle the admin stuff. But no choice, clearing forced leave/off.

Welcome the 3 new specs who will be joining this one of the busiest training wing. Hopefully you have make the right choice of staying back as instructors.

Next week will still be clearing leave/off, will be rotting at home as usual. Going over to KH camp soon to teach something which by right I should be familiar with, but somehow become unfamiliar now. I am getting worried over these. No notes to revise now. Not sure if last minute revision will help or not.

Suppose to come out with a venue for meeting up. But still uncertain where to go. I even went to the extend of searching the i-net for ideas, but to no avail.

Finally went to see a doctor on Thursday, managed to have a specialist appointment on 110909, which is super long from now. I still thought I can get my knee heal before AHM, looks like I have no choice.

Looking forward for Wing Retreat next, because I don't want to stay at home rotting!

People counting down 6 months before ORD, is it too early? Some 3 months has yet to do so. 3 months and you still see your work schedule is packed, where got the mood? 3 months still left with FEW courses, that's boring.

We went over to K H Camp last Thursday for recee. However, I still not sure exactly which area patch of ground we will be using. Anyway, went over to their office and bunks to take a look. All slacking sial! hahaa...Their life now not bad, as compared to last time. We will be back on the 27th.

Last Friday ECP run. 15 KM run. This time, I managed to run the first 6KM before I stop for a break. The 6KM is comfortable, just that my left knee joint seems to be in pain, therefore got to stop for a while. In the end, managed to finish it but then most of the time walking, and the joint is really in pain. I went home and took the painkiller pills. I hope I can recover fast to train for AHM.

Went back office after the run to finish those admin stuff. Waited for that bus 171 for 30 mins! Damn inefficient. I managed to finish the result computation, but some things still yet to confirm, got to wait till Monday to re-confirm the finalised result. Thanks Quan Hao for helping me with some of the result computation.

Did guard yesterday, and after so long, it's the 3 of us again!! Yesterday's guard was alright, especially when you did with someone you know and it's G3! Nothing much to elaborate on guard, peaceful night. After guard, reach home today at around 11am. I watched TV a while before taking a nap till 3 plus. Wasted another weekend, don't know what to do now. Boring Sunday afternoon.

In 3 days' time, I am gonna pass the baton to Quan Hao. Mixed feelings.

Booking in in few hours' time.
