There are nothing perfect in this world. When you are jobless, you felt emo for not having income and try looking for jobs. But when you found a job, you are emo because you realised that the job sucks and hate it to the max.
Finally found a job through agency. I really regret my decision after 1st day of work. It's not about the people, in fact, they are quite friendly and the manager are quite alright (just a bit too long-winded), it's about the jobscope. Yes indeed it's an admin job which I requested, however, admin work really are general terms. There are a lot of admin work in this world. This kind of admin work is very different from what I want. I find it really stressful upon knowing what kind of work I will be doing. To them, time is very precious and deadline have to be met within that day. I try to think positive, but it's really suffering in doing so. Regret looking for job through agency. I have to give 1 month notice, why not just kill me right now, at least I don't have to report to work with the long duration bus ride (actually the location is near, just that the only bus that I take everyday will make a round trip which drag the bus ride to the working destination).
I had my ' Civilian Converison Course' for 3 weeks already ( Only 20 days?? It seems like months to me). This course is a hard course to graduate. The graduation date will be unknown. Feeling rather depress. Will continue to search for better jobs.
Recently a got few friends whom I rarely seen for sometime, however, they suddenly just appear and say wanted to meet up over a meal to intro me some jobs or business. I get rather turn off by all these, was thinking what's their intention of all these. Or am I thinking too much?

ORD-ed on 091109, that was 2 weeks ago. Went admin office at 10am to settle those administrative stuff, followed by collecting pink IC after away from me for 1 yr and 10 mths. Feelings on that day was just average, not too much excitement upon getting the pink IC. Unlike others (those ORD-ed or those who are still in service) who are so excited about ORD, just let nature take its course, no point thinking too much. That day will come.
Meet up with zf last Saturday at Bugis. Had dinner at Hans after getting his stuff. 20 minutes for my Fish n Chips, thought they had gone fishing for fishes to deep fry before serving it to me. Actual fact is they had totally forgotten my order, luckily my mood was good that day. After that, window shopping around the area. We chilled at Xin Wang and ordered ice tea with milk and ice tea with milk with coffee respectively. Had a chat till 2230h before heading home.
ORD dinner just now in camp. I was late for 10mins. Not much regulars turned up. They should still be overseas for some overseas exercises. Had a chat with the guys after not seeing for few weeks. Feeling for tonight's ORD dinner was average. Left at 9pm.
Time flies, to think the guys were planning for their offs and leaves last month, and it has already come to an end already, new courses starting next week. I gonna start work next week too.

Courses after courses, and this time will be my last course in MTW, which is the NSmen course. I was rather disappointed for not able to take ASC det in 10th ASC.
These few weeks were busy preparing with courses as well as ORD. Getting people to sign clearance, ensure all stores drawn out by me are returned or transfer to someone else's name. Having to ORD in few weeks' time, people were asking me how come I am still heavily involved in course as compared to those who are ORD-ing the same time as me get to clearing their offs and leaves. I really don't know what's the best answer to this question. I have been surpressing the ORD mood since the start of the course in order to stay focus in taking det. I finally left go of this feeling when I saw both of their cupboards are empty. At that moment, I really feel a sense of emptiness in me. I was feeling alone at that moment. I feel that I was really left out. However, things have to go on.
This week, I started packing my things into my big black duffel bag. Some memories ran through my mind, such as the first day being allocated to bunk #05-10 etc. This week is kind of an emo week. Last week was worst.
SumEx has ended on Thursday. This marks the end of my last field camp in MTW. Next field camp for me should be sometime away. Monday will be the last day of the course, also my last day before clearing long leave.

Finally got back my IPPT GOLD after losing it for 5 months! It was kind of a mild down period, but it's over. I had super low confident initially, as I tried running 2.4km with timing last Sunday, with the timing of 10.09 mins. That's like 20 seconds away from the minimum gold timing. Anyway, I gave it a try, even though it seems unlikely to get gold. Really thank Staff Koh for lending me his shoes to me and analyze the certain timings to be met. 9.34mins is my timing for 2.4km now, still hoping to run below 9 mins one day.
Yesterday went swim with zf and chill with him at Starbucks Tampines. We had a post and pre-ORD chat. It seems that I am gonna be lost for some time after ORD.
Finally went Sakura @ downtown east today. It was years ago I last went. The feeling was quite shiok. I think I gonna gain some weight after today's Sakura session. Met George at Sakura, my BMT mate. He will be leaving for London for his studies this Friday, all the best to him.
Next week new course starting, my last course for sure.
Happy Birthday Dad!!
Happy Birthday Andy Lau!

This morning saw a group of people in civilian, realised that another group of people were waiting to collect their pink IC. Yea, Wei Liang's ORD today. He came in smart casual, awaiting for his pink IC and some document. He came over to our bunk to bid goodbye. After thus batch of people ORD, next in line will be my batch, finally. But that will be 50 plus more days.
Evening meet up with the poly friends for dinner at Bugis for steamboat. After eating all these, feel that the food was average only. After that, went over to Iluma for a rest, and order some yogurt ice cream with fruits. One portion cost around $5, a bit costly. Sang Amelia birthday song after her boyfriend arrived. Nothing too much, just a simple birthday song and cake cutting and marks the end of the gathering. Headed home after that and start thinking of the conversation with KY, regarding what's next after ORD. He and I actually share the same thoughts of what to do after my service, however, this may seems to be a tiring path to choose.
Anyway, before that, saw someone famous at Simei NTUC in the afternoon. lol.
I really dread having ulcer(s) on my mouth. It's really damn painful. Really lost appetite because of that. argh...
Feeling inferior...haiz.

Meet up with Sean and ZF yesterday for jogging at East Coast Park, clocked for around 10km. After that, we headed for lunch at Jack's Place. First time there, order this Saturday set meal. Half way through, blackout. Funny thing is people will 'orh...' when the light goes off, and 'orh...' again when the light comes back.
Evening meet up with HY and HS for dinner at 85 market. Order all those usual stuff. After that, we went IKEA @ Tampines. I was hunting for carbinet and eventually, bought a standing light. Went to C.Nai Macau cafe at Siglap. First time there, tried the carrot cake and the 'yuan yang'. The 'yuan yang' is really good. Chill there till 12 plus before heading home. Studying sports seems to be a good idea. But life is unexpected. Shall think carefully what's next after ORD.
Happy Birthday Sean!

Today saw Justin and David in their civilian attire. oh ya, they are ORD-ing today. They came for their pink IC which is away from their wallet for nearly 2 years. Next in line to ORD will be people Ord-ing on September, and next will be November. It's coming very soon.
August onwards will be busy period, no time to slack. New course started already, I am the DI today, which was 4 to 5 mths from my last DI. Things don't go very smoothly today.
AHM on sunday, I am looking forward.

SP conv cse is over. Today is the last day of the course. Just came back from KH camp, had ER from work. 1 week is really fast, having a short stay over there to meet up with the rest also. Now don't really feel like going back to my camp. From tomorrow onwards, will have a hard time till the end as course just started today. Really kind of dread going back, probably starting to feel the 'mood' already. 2-digit to ORD, finally. Guard on Saturday, which makes me feeling even sian. Having some evil thoughts, but unlikely it will happen.

Wake up early in the morning to watch the 'live' channel on the eclipse. It really show how some parts of China really from brightness to darkness, and back to brightness within few minutes. If it's happening in ancient times, perhaps this kind of phenomenon would have been a frightening experience.
Went supper with Wilson just now at east coast park with his bike. The feeling at the bike was shiok, with the wind blowing, but it's kind of scary, could be due to his speed of 100km/h at the expressway. Didn't eat much at east coast. We went over to the resting shed and chit chat for hours. He was telling me the people in his working area. It's really weird people there. Got smart but super low EQ with suspected mental problem people, got computer-illiterate superior, got stubborn cum thick skin senior etc. I thought that old man in my wing is weird enough, to think there are even weirder people exist.
Back in Bedok, feeling hungry. I ate a plate of bee hoon. Not too bad though, yet to explore more food in this area.
Happy belated birthday, Kah Wah.
Happy birthday YONG KWANG!!!

Went for a swim in the afternoon. Saw these 2 china man swimming. Both of them arrived the same time as me. Both of them seems to be competing with each other. They started off fast with freestyle. They were swimming non stop till coming near to 20 laps? Both of them were damn good in stamina. Maybe they were trained in their country. Just when I was about to leave after the session, an old man started chatting with me. He started the conversation asking if I am a regular of the swimming complex, I told him not really. He says that explain why I am fair in complexion. hahaha...I was like laughing inside. To think that he could start off a conversation like this, and to think he is rather fair too. He mentioned that he can't really swim fast and needed rest to complete his lap of swimming. He thus ask me guess his age. To give him some face, I said 60 plus, 70 plus (but he really look like 70 plus), he is 80. Beside him there is this old ang moh, he was chatting with him as well, overheard that he is from France. I asked him if he was his friend, he told me that he just happened to saw him on few occasions in the pool, saying that he will leave once he completed his 20 laps. But that Caucasian has got a good built, given his age (looks in his 60+ to 70). Lastly, I bid goodbye to the old man, who seems wanting to have more conversation with me. With less than 10 people in the pool, strangely I around 6 of them are senior citizens. Maybe that's their prime time of the day in pool.

Wednesday was the last day of my journey as Admin Spec. By right should be super happy (cos I was rather moody throughout), however, mixed feelings. Administrative work can't really hand over immediately. There are some things which I still have to settle before 'case close'. I can't totally left all the job to the understudy as there's still a lot for him to learn. Even thought I am clearing off/leave these few days, I still feel uneasy letting a super new spec (posted in less than 3 weeks) to temporary handle the admin stuff. But no choice, clearing forced leave/off.
Welcome the 3 new specs who will be joining this one of the busiest training wing. Hopefully you have make the right choice of staying back as instructors.
Next week will still be clearing leave/off, will be rotting at home as usual. Going over to KH camp soon to teach something which by right I should be familiar with, but somehow become unfamiliar now. I am getting worried over these. No notes to revise now. Not sure if last minute revision will help or not.
Suppose to come out with a venue for meeting up. But still uncertain where to go. I even went to the extend of searching the i-net for ideas, but to no avail.
Finally went to see a doctor on Thursday, managed to have a specialist appointment on 110909, which is super long from now. I still thought I can get my knee heal before AHM, looks like I have no choice.
Looking forward for Wing Retreat next, because I don't want to stay at home rotting!
People counting down 6 months before ORD, is it too early? Some 3 months has yet to do so. 3 months and you still see your work schedule is packed, where got the mood? 3 months still left with FEW courses, that's boring.

We went over to K H Camp last Thursday for recee. However, I still not sure exactly which area patch of ground we will be using. Anyway, went over to their office and bunks to take a look. All slacking sial! hahaa...Their life now not bad, as compared to last time. We will be back on the 27th.
Last Friday ECP run. 15 KM run. This time, I managed to run the first 6KM before I stop for a break. The 6KM is comfortable, just that my left knee joint seems to be in pain, therefore got to stop for a while. In the end, managed to finish it but then most of the time walking, and the joint is really in pain. I went home and took the painkiller pills. I hope I can recover fast to train for AHM.
Went back office after the run to finish those admin stuff. Waited for that bus 171 for 30 mins! Damn inefficient. I managed to finish the result computation, but some things still yet to confirm, got to wait till Monday to re-confirm the finalised result. Thanks Quan Hao for helping me with some of the result computation.
Did guard yesterday, and after so long, it's the 3 of us again!! Yesterday's guard was alright, especially when you did with someone you know and it's G3! Nothing much to elaborate on guard, peaceful night. After guard, reach home today at around 11am. I watched TV a while before taking a nap till 3 plus. Wasted another weekend, don't know what to do now. Boring Sunday afternoon.
In 3 days' time, I am gonna pass the baton to Quan Hao. Mixed feelings.
Booking in in few hours' time.

Boring week again. Went driving lesson very early in the morning again, then rest at home. Went for a jog just now, realise my left knee still weak. Counting down to the end of admin spec. Not sure if the worst is over or yet to come, but it's gonna end soon.
Read newspaper and mention about fake degree. What's happening to all these private university? Imagine you spend few yrs taking this degree, go out to work, and find out that it's fake? What to do? Spend another few yrs study all over again, spend large amount of money and get a real stuff? Bu then how old already?
RIP Michael Jackson. I do love some of your songs.
Month of June, a lot of people are born in this month, especially the time in AI as trainees, exactly a yr ago at this week, can still rmb how much fun we had. Hope can all meet up soon. Same goes to BMT-mate too. Hope you guys are doing well.

First time in the office blogging. Now awaiting the rest to come back office.
Last weekend try to run, realised that I can't run due to the pain at my left knee. This is due to the long dist run I had 3 weeks ago. Not sure if I need more medical attention. I wish to take part in AHM. Hopefully I can recover ASAP and train up.

Adidas Sundown Marathon!! OMG! My very first marathon till date. Have been wanting to join marathon, but lack the motivation. This year, with the accompany of MTW colleague, I finish took up this challenge.
300509 @ 2230h, meet sirong and wilson at pasir ris mrt station, and proceed to take the shuttle bus. Upon alighting, we quickly change into the running attire, and meet up the rest to proceed to the baggage area. We reach the starting point at 2345h, do warm-up and standby for the race. At 0000h, the horn sounded. Most of them started with slow pace, causing rather 'human jam' at the back. We were soon split. Upon reaching the 1KM point, I was quite happy, but still got 41 KM more.
Someone told me that running the first 20KM without is quite Okay task for most of the people, I was kind of worry as my training for this marathon is limited and inconsistant. But I maganed to clear the first 20KM.
Here are the point where I wanted to stop:
21KM, 23KM, 25KM, 30KM.
After passing 30KM, I was having the thoughts of clearing 42KM without stopping, since it's 12 KM more, but really not easy. In the end, I sense that my legs are close to cramping, therefore i stopped at 35KM, walking a while and continue. I make a second stop at 36KM, as I stop, a lady was trying to motivating me. I was rather touched at that point of time. I continue after feeling better. For the last 7 to 8 KM, I was running like quite improperly (shin start to feel tight) in order to prevent the calfs from cramping. Here comes the 40KM mark, I pass through, hoping to finish it ASAP. However, upon making a left turn, both of my legs cramp. I was feeling both of the calfs having cramps for the first time. It feel sucks to cramp at this time with just 2 more KM to go. I seated on the gound for a few minutes, waiting for the cramp to go off.
When it gets better, I quickly get up and continue. The last 2 KM seems quite long. I keep running uncomfortably. When entering the last part near the bridge, I hear those volunteers were shouting, " Finishing soon, come on!". The lady in front of me ask how long more, they reply 1KM more. Immediately, she stopped and walked. After hearing that, I really curse and swear in my heart, thinking it only left with 200m. Anyway, I carry on running till I saw the first sensor. I tried to dash as fast as I can, also making sure that I don't cramp at this important point when everyone is looking at you. In the end, I cross the finishing point.
Timing still not confirm yet. But I was really very happy at that moment, as I only aim to finish the race rather than meeting timing. I got what I want, the finisher tee shirt and the medel.
Still waiting for the website to upload the result.

Yesterday was Dragon Boat Festival. Didn't managed to get glutinous rice dumplings. Suddenly got the urge for it just now. I asked mum if she had saved some for me, she said yes and heat it up for me. Didn't expect to finish up 2 and a half of it at this hour, half more to go later on. It's the one of the wonderful time of the year. Dragon Boat Festival, not forgetting Dragon Boat race. Few years back at this time will be training like hell, but now, was merely watching others training hard. It June race again, 800m race! omg! The distance sucks but really can see who is strong base on tactics. Once again, those were the days...
Busy period again as course has started, but this time was busy with the admin work. First day was really busy, was doing till quite late.
Sundown in 25 hrs time! Not much feel now as I try not to think too much, and also not to expected too much from my 1st marathon. Just hope to finish and get the finisher tee shirt, that's all!
Happy Birthday Jane!

I don't know what I am doing nowadays. Some things need to be done and yet I am always procrastinating, and do it unwilling. It happened many times, I just don't feel like doing it. It is not related to work, it's just me, recently. I am just feeling tired. I no longer feel the sense of satisfaction, no longer have the feeling like last time. Sometimes, I do regrets for not doing the thing I always wanted to do. It's just too late.
At work, so far so good, but the worst is definitely yet to come, that's for sure. Bring it on, and I definitely overcome all these f_ck up things. I have to have more belief in myself from now onwards.
Duty on Friday is another screw up, though I haven't been doing it for 4 months, but it's not a excuse for not doing it well. Haven't been sleeping throughout the night, was just stoning at the air-con room. Receive at least 3 calls from the same person, but the content is the same. I really think that he is a nice man, being my first interaction with him.
On the way home, took bus 969 from Chong Pang, I really hope to fins a place to sit so that I can sleep throughout the journey, but...no choice, stand near the standing area, the newer buses should have this area. One of my hand was grabbing onto the triangle piece, the other one on the lower metal part. I close my eyes and rest. I shall not bother how the others looked at me, I just rest while standing. Many a time I was on the verge on falling, at least 4 times I think, but I was really too tired to bother what the lady's expression behind as she was standing very close to me. Upon reaching Tampines interchange, got the urge to consume so junk food/drink, so I went to the cheap bubble tea shop to order a drink, didn't order in the end as the 'pearls' are not ready yet. Went across to hunt for alternative, sundae strawberry! It was like since last year I had it. However, after one mouthful, my urge to complete it has decrease. I sat down, looking emo, to finish the ice-cream. I can still remember during trainee time in AI, whenever we can order delivery, I will order sundae strawberry, knowing the fact that it will left with 70% of the ice-cream(30% melt become milk shake). Perhaps cookhouse food is making everyone turn crazy for outside food. I went to Cheers to get the Pokka milk tea after that, to find out why so many people love this berverage, and I got my answer =).
Getting a bit 宅 nowadays. Last time use to think that Mr Y is like that, as he told me that he hasn't been going out during weekend for 3 months. Now come and think about it, quite miss those days when I had the same commitment on weekends, even though the rest said that it was rather lifeless. I really miss those days now.

Sundown next week, just collected the racepack, the shirt is quite tight, not sure if wearing that for running or not. First marathon in my entire life, it's another experience for me. I hope to enjoy this. For this upcoming one, I just target to complete it, but not to the extend of walking throughout. Perhaps less than 6 hrs? Long time never train, really good luck to me, please.
Tomorrow will be a very busy day for most of us at work, with the new outfit. Hopefully it doesn't look like a pyjamas party in the office.
Borrowed some books again, hope this time can finish at least one book.
Happy Birthday Michelle!
Happy Birthday Quan Hao!
Happy Birthday Alvin Choo!

Opened the office at 7am today, for their preparation for in-pro. But turn out that I was waiting for 20mins before the second person appears. Today was quite peaceful as the old man is not around. A lot were clearing off today, either 1 day or half day. If not for the in-pro, i will be clearing as well. As usual, do the usual stuff. Zhi Rui was sms-ing me just now, was quite unexpected. He asked if I am ORD-ing tmr. I said no, which lead to the thinking that my batch of poly batch will be ORD-ing this week, which includes Si Rong and Ze Feng. Both ORD-ing on the 13th. Civilian life means a new chapter begins. After 2 yrs of military life, it's time to face greater challenges. As for me, 6 more months to ORD, not sure if I am ready for this day. For now, just wanting to get out of this cycle, a whole cycle of regimental duties. However, when the ORD day really comes, will the pressure increase?

Thursday's night was left with only me again in bunk. Went for a jog, then watch TV, then lights off. Saw those officer cadets booking out at around 2345h.
Friday morning, wake up at 0650h, wash up at get ready for work. Douglas was earlier, so he drew the office key before me. The office look quite empty as other working days at 0715h. By 0735h, A called back to report sick, B arrived at 0745h. Tune on to 93.3FM, hear of the news that C was finally caught. I started the day by logining into the OA, doing what there is need to be done, followed by collect newspaper, prepare powerpoint slides, forms etc. Douglas wanted to photocopy some documents opposite us, however, lights were not on.I went to toilet, realised that the dept beside us were all not in. Went to the usual place to collect newspaper, the door is locked.
Received around 3 phone calls today and trying to finish up what's left on the format of the document.
At 1715h, passed by the stretch of corridor to reach the DO room, it was so quiet, other dept were all not present in camp.
I left the camp at 1735h.

Live firing is finally over. Got sunburn and lots of mosquito bites. Really tiring!
In-Pro day on Monday, got to settle a lot of stuff. However, some last minute have to settle before noon that day, which really keeps me busy the whole morning, working non stop till lunch. First In-Pro things done by me, not very satisfactory, shall do better next time, afterall, I got till July,
Off day is kind of monotonous, such as went for driving lessons, eat, sleep, jog, tv, internet etc.
It's the month of May. Great Singapore Sales coming at the end of the month. Looking forward to it. few more course = few more In-Pros.

Down with flu, sick again.
Went for today's NE trip at National Museum of Singapore. Not as boring as I thought, kind of enjoy it. Get to see all those old things which we don't get to see it nowadays.
Taking over as admin spec already, life sucks, but I will hang it there. First day as admin spec and it's not working smoothly.
Clearing off this week and next week. Still planning what to do during this period of time. But then still worry about work, unsure if it is done or not. Anyway, working with that old man really makes me feel pressurized. How I wish he can go for a 3 month holiday immediately.
Hear of the strong wind on Wednesday night? It really look scary. Happened to be outside at that time when I saw those trees were swaying very strongly. Those signboard were looking as though they will fly out anytime. The whole stretch of road was really dim, deserted and scary.
Took IPPT on Wednesday, just like what I expected, I didn't managed to get gold, mainly is the running timing still not good enough. It really saddens me to see the drop in fitness after so long of breaks. Nowadays training for sundown, hopefully I can at least finish this marathon, not to mention about fast speed.
The road is really long for this critical 3 months. In life, you gain something, you may also end up losing something, however, I don't know what I will gain, but I will definitely lose out more things.

Watch "The Shinjuku Incident" this evening. Jackie Chan didn't use martial arts, not too bad overall. Wasted 2 weeks, a damn long period. Feel like lost touch in a lot of things. Hope everything remains the same, if not, become better.

I just realised that I can't run. Energy level is extremely low. It's really a big problem!
Sunday, April 05, 2009
It has been super long time since the last time I run. Been staying at home doing nothing...argh!! don't like the feeling. IPPT and adidas sundown marathon, real soon. I am getting worried.

3 weeks unable to come online, due to internet down at home. Finally after 3 weeks, internet is working again. It sucks without it.
Sometimes, not everything is on your way or the way you want it to be. It really saddens me when I had Chicken Pox a week ago. Seriously, if this happen a week or 2 weeks later, things will be so much better. I had miss the precious time, important moment with them.
Talking about Chicken Pox, a lot actually say they had it since young, I was wondering, when will my turn be. Even after what happened to Mark (OCT then) during BK, I thought I was consider lucky for escaping it. It struck me with Chicken Pox last week, the unexpected period of time.
Had 1 week of MC from the medical center. I extended it with 1 more week even though I hate to do it, as staying at home really boring, but no choice.
Really thanks for all wishes. Each of it really brightens my day. 10 more minutes to the end of today, hopefully this year will be a better year.

The cursed Friday the 13th sucks. This day doesn't goes smoothly for me.
- Morning wake up feel tired
- Draw arm timing late due to fuck up timing given
- Lack of manpower, I had to do the preparation alone
- Water point stores left unattended
- Didn't ask them to keep
- Hidden by someone
- Whole world was questioning me
- World world know it's my fault (Including trainees!!)
- Feeling so fuck up
- ISAC card got lock

Just some memories from the last day of BMT. The performance of the drill squad in Pegasus Coy. We got champion then. =)
1/3 of the course is over. No mood for this course, feeling restless. Anyway, yesterday saw an email regarding the individual timing for 121st ARR result. I took 4.57 minutes to complete. It was the one of the slowest among those NSF. After seeing it, was rather depressing. I didn't expect to have such timing. The trial was 4.49, 8 seconds difference. It really saddens me.
Finally went for swimming this morning, but didn't last long. After that, went to SIM open house with Melvin, saw some familiar faces. We completed gathering the brochures within 20minutes? I can't decide which course to apply. The open house was kind of unexpected.
Meet zf n raymond for dinner at tampines. The last time we met was dunno how many months ago. Everyone was busy, after dinner all went home. Looking forward for the next meet-up. Same goes for the ASC meet-up too!! BMT meet-up will be better!!

Exactly a week ago I was still in Thailand, should be in bus now to the floating market. Went Thailand for 2 weeks. It is indeed a good experience. Enjoy there, just that the weather was quite hot in the day and cold at night. We went crocodile farm, floating market, future park etc. Bus journey was board, each trip to another destination was average 1 hr. Didn't really buy a lot of stuff in this trip, only some shirt and key chain.
Back to office, new course starting. Was feeling rather restless and no mood for anything. I feel that this week is a slow week as time passes quite slow. Anyway, life sucks.
Watched 'Love Matters', was rather disappointed, but still quite ok. Sundown marathon is near. OMG!~
Is my passion in rowing still exist? I am confused! I feel so lost.

Happy Lunar New (牛) Year.
Last year's CNY was bad. Had high fever. I love this festive season CNY as I know that lots of goodies and Bah Kwa awaiting me. Day 1 and 2 visited some relatives house, not as much as compared to few years back. Hong Bao amount should be quite standard too. Had a bit too much of the goodies, feeling quite dry in the throat. Perhaps I should be more discipline to water parade myself.
3 new colleague joining us next week, quite looking forward to work with them.
Cow year resolution? World peace, healthy, economy getting better, success in work and studies and also wealth.
Happy Birthday, Sis.

Time flies! it's 10th of Jan again. Exactly 365 days ago, I was enlisted. Took the ferry in the morning with my parents, waiting to take the pledge etc. After that, had lunch. Can still remember my first meal in Tekong was yam rice with chinese sausage. After that, bid goodbye at 1330h and started to fall in according to our school and company. We then proceed to our company line to collect our SAF duffle bag and other items. After checking of items, we were split into platoon and bunks. I was struggling to carry my extremely heavy duffle bag to level 4. I make my way to my bed and started trying on the sizes of all the issued items. It seems that everything is okay expect for the jockey cap and sport shoe. We then fall in to proceed to the store room to exchange the items. At around 4, we proceed for our hair cut at the training shed. It was fast, within a minute and it's done. After that, proceed back to company line, do all the administrative stuff and interview. Soon, dinner time and it's 2130h. We were told to make a phone call home. After making the call, we proceed to bunk for admin time and 2230h, lights off. First night in bunk can't seems to sleep, perhaps can't really adapt in a change of environment for a start.

It's the last day of the year 2008. Institute celebration at the camp's swimming pool. Had some water activities before lunch and book out after lunch. New year celebration this year will be at Wilson's place. We went to TPY to get the necessary items for the BBQ in the evening. We slack in his house while waiting evening to come. We started BBQing at 6pm, awaiting for the Taiwan countdown show at 7pm in Cable channel. After that, clearing up the place and watched TV in the living room while waiting for the new year to come. We then spend the night there.
Last year's one was great too, however, puke quite a lot and mess up the place. So, how's about next year? lol.
2008 seems to be a bad year, got lots of unhappy moments. New year resolution? Just to be better then 2008. ORD this year lor!!!
Course just ended, my first time taking a detachment. Not really satisfied with my performance.
All the best for the trainees in their new unit, kind of missing them when seeing the camp is rather empty. 2nd last day of their course something happened. He was hospitalised. However, he is fine now. I am feeling guilty.
Anyway, wish all a Happy New Year. Hopefully 2009 is a great year for me. Shall find time meet up old friends soon.
